Solarmount

• Solar panel mounting device for any car roof, also RV's, boats, trailers...
• panel is vented from the back for keeping the temperatures lower. Even better with tilted panel!

• rubber joints with stainless steel plates and M8 threads. Lifespan VERY long, not a single fault in 10 years.
• suitable for almost any size of panel, two versions available L and XL, up to 20kg no problem
• Version "standard" for panel length up to ca. 1,5m with a raising bow bent out of 1,5m material.

• Payload appr. 20kg. For exceeding panel weight I strongly recommend additional rubber buffers to support the panel frame when tilted.

• Safety notes: always make shure that all 4 brackets are locked before driving.
• Never drive with tilted solar module.
• Put panel down in strong winds
• when tilting, secure strut with the bolt at the center bracket.

Delivery scope:

• 4 corner assemblies with or without base plates (depdending on bought version)
• center bracket for tilring
• V shaped strut for tilting with EPDM rubber cover, strut has to be adapted to panel in length and width
• 4x4 Screws M6 with self locking nuts for panel mount to brackets
• 2x swivel joints M10, 2x M10 screws, 2x M10 long nut for inside frame thickness adapting, 4 large washers M10
• XL: M10x1000 thread pole with 2 flange nuts to connect both joints instead of 2x screws

Necessary tools:

• metal saw, preferred bimetal blade, or angle grinder with cutting blade for shortening the tilting strut
• file or angel grinder to deburr the strut ends
• vice or strong pliers (with cardboard to protect the thread) for bending the strut ends
• chassis glue and primer for stainless steel to fix the base plates on the roof or like
